N-250 membuat namanya bersinar bak mutiara.


Adalah Prof. Dr. Ing. H. Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie, tokoh yang akrab disapa Rudy Habibie atau B.J. Habibie ini memang memiliki sejuta prestasi yang gemilang.
Habibie menjabat Asisten dan Research Scientist pada Institut Konstruksi Ringan di Technische Hochscule Aachen (1960-1965), Sarjana Ahli pada MBB – Messerchmitt Bolkow Blohm (1960-1965), Kepala Departemen MBB pada bagian Riset untuk Ilmu Pengetahuan Dasar Kekuatan Rangka dan Konstruksi (1966-1969), Kepala Divisi Metode dan Teknologi Pesawat Komersial dan Pesawat Angkut Militer, MBB (1969-1973), dan Wakil Presiden Direktur Aplikasi Teknologi MBB.
Di samping itu, Habibie menjadi anggota kehormatan dari “Gesellschaft Fuer Luft Und Raumfahrt” (Lembaga Penerbangan dan Angkasa Luar), Jerman Barat; Fellow “Royal Aeronautical Society “, Inggris; Anggota dari “The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences”; Anggota dari “Academie Nationale de I’airet de I’Espace”, Perancis. Kemudian, Habibie diangkat sebagai Anggota Kehormatan dari “National Academy of Engineering”, Amerika Serikat.
Prestasi tersebut dia dapat dengan perjalanan panjang. Pada mulanya, ia belajar teknik mesin di Institut Teknologi Bandung selama satu tahun (1954-1955). Kemudian, pada 1955-1965 dia melanjutkan studi teknik penerbangan, spesialisasi konstruksi pesawat terbang di Technische Berechnung, Aachen, Jerman Barat. Dia menerima gelar diplom ingineur pada 1960 (skripsinya berjudul, Berechnung Eines Fluegels). Lima tahun kemudian, pada 27 Juli 1965, ia mempertahankan thesisnya dalam bidang yang sama, konstruksi Pesawat Terbang dan memperoleh gelar doktor ingineur dengan predikat summa cum laude.
Setelah mendapat bekal yang cukup dari luar negeri, Habibie kembali ke Indonesia tahun 1974 dan menempati berbagai jabatan penting, antara lain sebagai Penasehat Direktur Utama Pertamina, Kepala Divisi Advanced Technology dan Teknologi Penerbangan Pertamina sekaligus sebagai Penasihat Pemerintah dalam bidang yang sama. Pada bulan April 1976, Ia diangkat sebagai Direktur Utama PT Industri Pesawat Terbang Nurtanio.
Karirnya semakin menanjak, di tahun 1986, Ia menjabat Menteri Negara Riset dan Teknologi RI, Ketua Badan Pengkajian dan Penerapan Teknologi (BPPT), Ketua Otorita Pengembangan Daerah Industri Pulau Batam, Dirut PT Industri Pesawat Terbang “Nusantara”, Dirut PT PAL-Indonesia, Dirut PT Pindad, Anggota MPR-RI, Ketua Institut Aeronotika dan Astronoptika Indonesia, Anggota Dewan Komisaris Pemerintah Pertamina, Ketua Dewan Pembina dan Pengelola Industri-Industri Strategis dan Industri Hankam, Ketua Dewan Pembina Pertahanan Indonesia, Ketua Dewan Riset Nasional, Ketua Dewan Pembina Yayasan Pengembangan Teknologi Indonesia, Ketua Dewan Pembina Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia, serta Anggota Dewan Pembina Golkar.
Puncak kariernya diperoleh pada 21 Mei 1998, dia berhasil menjabat Presiden. Sebelum menjabat Presiden, Habibie adalah Wakil Presiden (Maret 1998 - 21 Mei 1998) dalam Kabinet Pembangunan VII di bawah Presiden Soeharto dan Menteri Negara Riset dan Teknologi sejak tahun 1978 sampai Maret 1998.
Presiden RI ketiga ini dilahirkan di Pare-Pare, Sulawesi Selatan pada 25 Juni 1936. Dia adalah anak keempat dari delapan bersaudara, lahir dari pasangan Alwi Abdul Jalil Habibie dan RA. Tuti Marini Puspowardojo. Habibie menikah dengan Hasri Ainun Habibie pada tanggal 12 Mei 1962, dikaruniai dua orang putra yaitu Ilham Akbar dan Thareq Kemal.
Kertas-Kertas Karyanya terdiri dari 48 papers yang bersifat ilmiah yang diterbitkan dalam majalah internasional, ceramah, maupun rapat internasional. Karya dalam bidang : Thermodynamics, Konstruksi, Instationair Aeroynamics, dan Fracture Mechanics and Construction. Habibie ikut aktif dalam beberapa proyek dengan menghitung dan mendesain pesawat terbang, antara lain: 1. Fokker F-28; 2. VTOL (Vertical take off & Landing) Pesawat Angkut DO-31; 3. Pesawat Pengangkut Militer Transall C-130; 4. Hansa Jet 320 (Pesawat Eksekutif); 5. Airbuss A-300. Disamping itu, secara tidak langsung ikut berpartisipasi dalam menghitung dan mendesain : 1. Helikopter BO-105; 2. Multi Role Combat Aircraft(MRCA); 3. Beberapa proyek missile dan satelit.

The success of "the genius" when creating and designing the prototype aircraft
N-250 made his name shines like a pearl.
Is Professor. Dr. Ing. H. Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie, a character who is familiarly called Rudy Habibie or BJ This Habibie does have a million brilliant achievement.
Habibie served as Assistant and Research Scientist at the Institute for Lightweight Construction in Hochscule Technische Aachen (1960-1965), Bachelor of Experts on the MBB - Messerchmitt Bolkow Blohm (1960-1965), Head of the Department of MBB on the Basic Science Research to the Framework and Power Construction (1966 -1969), Head of Methods and Technology Division, Commercial Aircraft and Military Transport Aircraft, MBB (1969-1973), and Vice President Director of Technology Applications MBB.
In addition, Habibie became an honorary member of the "Gesellschaft Fuer Luft und Raumfahrt" (Institute of Aeronautics and Aerospace), West Germany; Fellow "Royal Aeronautical Society, UK; Member of" The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences "; Member of "Academie Nationale de I'airet de I'Espace", France. Then, Habibie was appointed as an Honorary Member of the National Academy of Engineering ", the United States.
These achievements he can with a long journey. At first, he studied mechanical engineering at the Bandung Institute of Technology for one year (1954-1955). Then, in 1955-1965 he continued his aviation engineering studies, specializing in aircraft construction Technische Berechnung, Aachen, West Germany. He received his Diplom ingineur in 1960 (thesis titled, Berechnung Eines Fluegels). Five years later, on July 27, 1965, it maintains the same thesis in the field, construction Aircraft ingineur and obtained his doctorate summa cum laude.
After receiving enough stock from outside the country, Habibie returned to Indonesia in 1974 and held various important positions, including as Counsel Pertamina President Director, Head of the Advanced Technology Division Flight Technology and Pertamina, as well as Advisor to the Government in the same field. In April 1976, he was appointed as President Director of Aircraft Industry.
His career was increasingly uphill, in the year 1986, he served as Minister of State for Research and Technology, Chairman of the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT), Chairman of the Industrial Development Authority Batam Island, Director of Aircraft Industry "Nusantara", the Managing Director of PT PAL Indonesia, President Director of PT Pindad, MPR-RI, Chairman of Indonesian Institute of Aeronautics and Astronoptika, Member of the Board of Commissioners of Pertamina Government, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the Strategic Industry Manager, Industrial and Defense Industry, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Defence of Indonesia, Chairman of the National Research Council, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Foundation Technology Development of Indonesia, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Indonesian Engineers Association, and Member of the Board of Trustees of Golkar.
Obtained at the peak of his career May 21, 1998, he successfully served as President. Before he was appointed president, Habibie was the Vice President (March 1998-21 May 1998) in the Seventh Development Cabinet under President Suharto and the Minister of State for Research and Technology from 1978 until March 1998.
The third President was born in Pare-Pare, South Sulawesi, on June 25, 1936. He is the fourth child of eight children, born from a couple Alwi Abdul Jalil Habibie and RA. Tuti Marini Puspowardojo. Habibie is married to Hasri Ainun Habibie on May 12, 1962, was blessed with two sons namely Ilham Akbar and Thareq Kemal.
His paper, paper consists of 48 scientific papers that are published in international magazines, lectures, and international meetings. Work in the field: thermodynamics, Construction, Instationair Aeroynamics, and fracture, Mechanics and Construction. Multi Role Combat Aircraft (MRCA); 3. Some of the missile and satellite projects.
